Tall Stacks - October 4-8, 2006
Wow! What a great finish to Cincinnati's Tall Stacks. Five days of busy riverfront, great entertainment (like Rosanne Cash), fireworks, and even some bridge climbing. There was some rain on Wednesday and it got rather cool in the evenings but the weekend weather could not have been any better. I managed to attend Thursday and Saturday evenings and much of the day on Sunday. The Parade of Tall Stacks was held Sunday and I've filled out the page with parade views of the fifteen participants (The Magnolia Belle was unable to make what would have been her first Tall Stacks appearance.) and a going away shot of the Queen City's favorite queen.

I was in awe of a pair of quite small river craft and just have to post a picture. Even when you know that the Licking is a river, you have to admire the guy's courage.
