Lost Highway Exhibit

Lost Highway display About a dozen dilapidated roadside attractions are on display at the National Corvette Museum. David Malcolm Rose reproduces real structures in miniature - and great detail - and his Lost Highway collection can be seen at the museum through spring 2007. More information on the collection as well as David's other work is available here.

The spot used for the display is normally occupied by a couple of 1960s Corvettes backed by references to the Route 66 TV show and to the road whose name it borrowed. Two of the models, "Last Chance" and "Navajo Rugs" are based on Rout 66 businesses while the others were inspired by buildings on the side of other "lost highways". Lost Highway display
